David Bruno, Ed.D. is the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources at Glen Ellyn School District 41, where he brings over 20 years of educational experience and a deep passion for cultivating an engaging and supportive district culture. His career journey has included roles as Teacher, Dean of Students, Principal, and District Leader; each one reinforcing his commitment to creating an environment where staff and students alike feel valued, connected, and empowered.

David’s approach to leadership centers around building strong relationships, supporting professional growth, and fostering a collaborative spirit across the district. He works to ensure that Glen Ellyn School District 41 is not just a workplace but a community where teachers and staff are motivated to excel, knowing their contributions are appreciated.

Additionally, David serves on a variety of Boards of Directors. He actively participates as a member of the Illinois Association of School Personnel Administrators (IASPA) Executive Board, and B.R. Ryall YMCA, demonstrating his commitment to supporting initiatives that strengthen community and well-being. His dedication to creating a thriving district culture is evident in every initiative and interaction, making a lasting impact on students, staff, and families alike.
