Josh Chambers

Serves as Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources at Glenbard Township High School District 87 since 2014. Began his career in education as a teacher in the Chicago Public Schools as part of the Teach for Chicago program. His passion for public service and public education grew from the experiences of his mother, a 40 year Chicago Public School Teacher. Holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Princeton University, a Masters Degree from Concordia University in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Masters Degree from Aurora University in Educational Leadership. Josh has taught at the elementary, middle school, and high school level. He has held multiple administrative positions, including Interim Math Department Chair, Dean of Students, Assistant Principal of Administrative Services, Principal, and Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources and Student Services.

Josh has also been an contributing member of the HR Community. In addition to serving as the Chair of the IASPA Communication Committee, Josh has been the Chair, Co-Chair, and member of the AASPA Scholarship Committee. Josh is currently a member of the Constitution and By-Laws Committee for AASPA. Josh has volunteered as technical support for IASPA events for multiple years. He is also a member of the Northwest Personnel Administrators group.

Josh has represented the Glenbard School district as a presenter at the Joint Annual Conference, the National School Boards Association Annual Conference, EdLeader21 Annual Conference, Illinois Association of School Administrators Annual Conference, and IASPA's Annual Conference.
