Course Details:
In this interactive session, we will examine how unconscious bias works, and its impact on decision making processes related to hiring. Participants will compare and contrast the different forms of bias that affect hiring decisions. Participants will utilize a “Musts/Wants” model to support the hiring of diverse talent. Participants will examine the relationship between organizational culture and inclusion for diverse talent. Participants will learn strategies to manage their biases and cultivate organizations that are conducive for the hiring and retention of diverse candidates. Participants will learn strategies to support hired underrepresented talent

All in-person registration (credit card, purchase order and send payment) cancellations must be made in writing & received no later than 7 days before event and will incur a $50.00 cancellation fee.
Refunds are not granted for failure to attend, late arrival or early departure. IASPA is not responsible for state or district travel restrictions, medical or weather-related cancellations or for airfare, hotel or other costs associated with the conference if the registrant is unable to attend.
Purchase orders are accepted as a courtesy and are considered a guarantee of payment. Any cancellation of a registration guaranteed with a purchase order will be subject to the same cancellation policy. I understand that by selecting “Send Payment” I agree to the above cancellation policy.
No registration refunds will be issued for cancellation requests made after 7 days before any event.
Membership, special events and meal tickets are non-refundable.
