Implementing Faith's Law...What Do I Do Next?
Effective July 1, 2023, the Faith's Law trailer bill requires that school districts complete an Employment History Review (EHR) for all employees working with students. Join Cynthia DeCola, Senior Counsel at Hodges Loizzi, and Dr. Kimberly Chambers, Director of Human Resources at Adlai E. Stevenson High School District 125, as they discuss collaborating with representatives of ISBE, IASB, and IASA to create the EHR template which will soon be available from ISBE and the PRESS policies related to the Faith's Law trailer bill. They will share practical updates for school districts to be compliant with the new requirements.
Registration is free to IASPA members. Non-members are welcome with a $25 registration fee.
